Dangerous Dogs

This summer, Waveney MP Peter Aldous presented to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs a petition in the House of Commons on behalf of his constituent Mrs Paula Trail. In January, Mrs Trail was walking her King Charles spaniel Lacie, who was attacked and tragically killed by two other dogs.  Since then, more than 400 people have signed a local petition and more than 1,750 an e-petition calling for penalties to be imposed if a dog is dangerously out of control and injures another dog. The Government responded with observations on the petition.
Mr. Aldous has set up an online survey regarding the Government’s response.  The public is encouraged to take part in the survey so additional feedback can be gathered on this important public safety matter. To read the Government’s observation of the Petition regarding Dangerous Dogs visit Mr. Aldous’ homepage at www.peteraldous.com.   Please take a moment to fill in the short survey.  The survey will end on 30 November at 5pm.

Peter holds regular surgeries at various locations in the constituency. Please call 01502 586568 to make an appointment.
