On Monday 2nd March 2015, Manor Farm Care Home hosted a visit from Waveney MP Peter Aldous. The visit was a great opportunity for the residents and staff of Manor Farm Care Home to meet their MP. The visit began with a complete tour of Manor Farm Care Home, which included viewing some of the newly refurbished bedrooms with updated equipment, newly designed dining room and resident’s lounge. This was followed by a detailed discussion on the care services provided at Manor Farm Care Home with Ms Lynda Blowers (Manager), Ms Kay Eaton (Deputy Manager) and Mr Vinay K. Patel (the Managing Director). 
 
Mr Aldous commented: “I enjoyed my visit to Manor Farm Care Home. The staff gave me a conducted tour and introduced me to both residents and staff and it was good to talk to them about a wide variety of issues.” 
 
Prior to concluding the visit, Mr Peter Aldous spent some quality one to one time with various residents of Manor Farm Care Home discussing the care provided by Manor Farm Care Home, their interests and hobbies. 
 
Managing Director Vinay Patel commented: “The staff and residents of Manor Farm Care Home were truly touched by this visit from their local Member of Parliament and that it was an important moment for Manor Farm Care Home. 
 
Manor Farm Care Home which has been providing care services for over 30 years in Kessingland was taken over by London based KRG Care Homes Ltd in November 2013. It is, since then, undergoing through a programme of substantial refurbishment. KRG Care Homes Ltd, is the Healthcare division of KRG, which is a family run business with over 45 years of business history.
