All Hallows Healthcare Trust have today announced that they have reached agreement with NorseCare Ltd for the transfer of the operation of All Hallows Nursing Home and with Nightingale Homecare for the transfer of the operation of All Hallows homecare services.

There are also ongoing discussions to transfer the provision of daycare services and meals on wheels to another local provider and it is anticipated that this transfer will follow the same timetable as for NorseCare and Nightingale Homecare, with daycare and meals on wheels provision continuing without interruption.

The Trust also advise that they are in discussion with an interested provider regarding the potential transfer of All Hallows Hospital, that this is not as developed but work continues, and there will be further announcements as arrangements are confirmed.

Peter Aldous MP said:

“It is welcome news for service users that providers with a proven track record have been selected to continue to operate the All Hallows Nursing Home and to provide home care services. Hopefully similar arrangements will be confirmed very shortly for day care services and meals on wheels.

“The Trustees decision with regard to the Hospital is awaited and it is important that this service continues to be available to residents in the Bungay and surrounding area.”
