In recent days there has been a strong and renewed effort by the UK Government to achieve a deal.

I remain of the opinion that it is best that the UK leaves with a deal on 31^st October, and that the result of the EU Referendum 2016 must be respected.  

I support the Prime Minister in this endeavour and hope that negotiations will be fruitful in the coming days.
