Waveney MP Peter Aldous today announced the winner and runners up of his Waveney Christmas Card Competition.

The competition was open to all primary school children in the Waveney Constituency with Mr Aldous using the winning entry as his personal Christmas card.

The winner of the competition is Evangelina Coles, from Class 4 at St Edmund’s Catholic School in Bungay. The runners up are Molly Starks age 6 from Woods Loke Primary School in Lowestoft, David Burdett age 11 from Bungay Primary School and Jake Honeywood aged 13 from Warren School in Lowestoft.

Mr Aldous will be visiting the schools to meet the children and congratulate them in person.

The winner, Evangelina Coles, will have her name printed on the back of the Christmas card and Mr Aldous is inviting her to the House for a tour and lunch with her family. The runners up will receive House of Commons gifts.

Mr Aldous, commenting said:-
“I was surprised by the number and excellent quality of the entries to the competition. I would like to thank all the pupils and their teachers for the hard work in designing and submitting their entries. The choice of winner in the end was a very difficult one.”
