Waveney MP Peter Aldous has given a warm welcome to news that recorded crime in Suffolk has fallen over the last twelve months. Latest figures from the independent Office for National Statistics show that recorded crime in Suffolk fell by ten per cent.

Peter Aldous said:

‘The news that crime is falling in Suffolk will be warmly welcomed by local people. Our hardworking police officers in Suffolk can be proud of their success.

‘Because Conservatives are on the side of people who work hard and do the right thing, we are reforming the police so they can cut crime and make our communities safer. These figures are clear evidence that those reforms are working.’
