Peter was pleased to attend the launch of the newly formed Waveney Advice Services Partnership (WASP) which will bring together under one roof services provided by the Citizens Advice Bureau, DIAL and Access Community Trust.

 

WASP was formed after securing £350,000 from the Big Lottery Advice Services Transition Fund.

 

Peter says of the new partnership, “ I congratulate the North East Suffolk CAB for securing the funding to enhance the advice and support services sector in Waveney. Widening the access to these vital services, especially improving services in rural Waveney, will be of great benefit to the local community and together the three organisations will be able to help more people to resolve often complex issues and move forward in their lives. It is particularly encouraging to see the inclusion of education and employment advice aimed at providing people with the necessary skills to move in to the workplace.”
