Waveney MP Peter Aldous has welcomed figures showing that the Government are delivering new affordable homes and helping people to get on the housing ladder in Waveney.

In Waveney 350 new affordable homes have been delivered since 2010, giving more families the opportunity to move into a good quality, affordable home and plan for their future.

Nearly 200,000 new affordable homes have now been delivered across the country since 2010 and Britain is now building more homes than at any time since 2007.

Mr. Aldous said:

‘It is good news that the Affordable Homes programme has been successful in delivering a large number of new affordable homes in Waveney, where people can raise a family and enjoy greater security. The programme has helped kickstart the construction industry in the area and there are exciting new projects are in the pipeline, which will also help create new jobs.”
