Peter Aldous met with Carlton Colville Primary School Year 5 students last week as part of their curriculum studying the changing power of the monarchy over time, with a strong focus on modern democracy in the United Kingdom. Aldous commented:  “I really enjoyed meeting the Year 5 students. I told them about my role of representing Waveney at Westminster and they asked many questions which illustrated both their great  interest in and knowledge of the constitution and the workings of modern democracy in the UK.
