BBC Radio Suffolk and BBC Radio Norfolk are joining forces with the East Anglian Daily Times to encourage people to make a really simple New Year's Resolution... Don't touch your mobile phone when you're driving.

Peter said:
"We all know it's illegal to use a handheld phone when you're at the wheel, but we still see people do it. And, if we're honest, we've all been tempted to glance over and check on a message that's just come through. By publicly saying we're not going to do it, we hope to make more people think twice about their own actions."
