COVID-19: Public transport

From Monday 15 June, it is mandatory for passengers to wear face coverings when using public transport in England. This includes when travelling on buses or coaches, trains or trams, aircrafts or ferries.

Exemptions will include young children, disabled people and those with breathing difficulties.

Wherever possible people should continue to avoid public transport and walk, cycle or drive, but for some people this may not be an option.
