Waveney MP Peter Aldous today commented on Suffolk County Council leader Mark Bee’s proposal to set up a Community Interest Company to help local people get involved in running their libraries.

Mr Aldous said:

“Libraries are at the heart of many of our communities and I welcome Suffolk County Council’s initial response to the consultation. I will be working closely with Mark Bee and others to help remove barriers to local people contributing to the running of libraries so we can maintain an excellent level of provision across Suffolk.”
