Waveney MP Peter Aldous has written to the East Anglian Ambulance Service expressing his concern as to the length of time it took to for an ambulance to arrive at Walmer Road in Pakefield following a serious injury sustained by Kyle Baker at the Ridgeon’s Premier League Match between Kirkley and Pakefield and Clacton on Saturday afternoon.

Mr Aldous said:

“I was pleased to sponsor the match which was marred by Kyle’s nasty injury but I am concerned that it took the ambulance over an hour to reach him. I have personally written to Hayden Newton, CEO of East of England Ambulance Service requesting an investigation as to why this was the case.”
