On Thursday 29th March, Peter will be running a small business mentoring seminar at The Kirkley Centre, 9.30 – 11.30am. The aim of the surgery is to learn about bank mentoring and find out how it could help your business. A representative from the British Bankers’ Association, a local bank mentor and a representative from NWES will be attending to answer any questions.

Recent government research shows that small businesses who seek external help have a greater chance of survival and success. Small businesses who did seek help and support showed an increase in turnover and employment, and were planning to grow their business over the next 2-3 years. Most small businesses do not, however, look for external help. For instance only 11% of small businesses use a mentor.

Places for this free seminar are limited. Please contact my Constituency Office to secure your place on: 01502 359980

“I am pleased to be running this seminar as during these austere economic times, it is important for small businesses to be provided with as much support as possible.”
