Waveney MP Peter Aldous will be taking part in a fund raising event for homeless people in Lowestoft organised by the Adam Outreach Project (Hope House) in Lowestoft.

The race will take place on Saturday 12th May at 2pm.

The MP took up the challenge of a race with resident of Hope House, Daryl Cook to raise funds for a new house for homeless women in Lowestoft and to highlight the problems of homelessness in the area.

Peter and Daryl will run from CEFAS to the South Pier and then cycle back along the same route on the cycle path.

There will be bucket collectors along the route and any donations can be made by calling Val on 01502 560956 or 07737 808930. Cups and t-shirts will also be on sale.
