Waveney MP Peter Aldous has launched a public petition opposing the imposition of VAT on static holiday caravans.

After speaking against the Government’s measures to introduce VAT on static holiday caravans in the House of Commons on 26th May, Waveney MP Peter Aldous has issued the petition to all those who have contacted his office from the Waveney Constituency with concerns over the measures.

Mr Aldous said:

“I am opposing the proposed introduction of VAT on static holiday caravans after being contacted by a number of those running static holiday parks in the Waveney Constituency.”
