Waveney MP Peter Aldous today commented on the news that Monitor, the organisation that authorises and regulates NHS foundation trusts, has decided that the James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust no longer has any ‘outstanding quality concerns.’

Aldous commenting after having received a letter from Adam Cayley, Regional Director – Midlands and East, informing him of the official improvements.

Mr Aldous said:

“I was very pleased to hear the news that the James Paget Hospital has improved to the extent to which there are no longer any outstanding quality concerns. Health services in our area are generally good and it is a tribute to hard working staff that problems previously identified have been overcome and I congratulate them and thank them for their dedication to patient care in Waveney.”
