One of the region’s leading accountants, Lovewell Blake, has moved into their new Lowestoft office which was constructed, designed and fitted out by local businesses, many of whom are clients of the firm. Around 40 staff and partners including Lovewell Blake Financial Planning Limited have moved from the firm’s old offices at Bridge Road, Oulton Broad, to the new premises located at Quay View Business Park, which was officially opened on Friday 13th December.

Oldman Homes and Wellington Construction were responsible for creating and building the office which was officially opened by Lowestoft and Waveney MP Peter Aldous.

Commenting on Lovewell Blake’s new office, Paul Briddon Partner at Lovewell Blake said:
“We see great opportunities for Lowestoft, particularly in the renewable energy industry which is one of the key reasons behind our move to a modern, sustainably built office. We now have the space for expanding our growing team to match the requirements of our increasing client base.

Lowestoft continues to develop as a centre for business and we are keen to show our commitment to this town and the energy sector. Lovewell Blake has been located in Lowestoft for over 100 years and we hope this new location will serve us and our clients for many years to come.”

Peter Aldous, MP for Waveney said:
“I want to thank Lovewell Blake for demonstrating their long-term commitment to the growth and development of Lowestoft. They clearly see opportunity here to expand their business which I believe is a strong indicator of the area’s economic potential”.
